Cooking Instructions: 1. Bring 6-8 cups of water to boil. Add drained and rinsed beans (2 1/2 cups) to the boiling water and reduce heat to simmer. 2. Simmer gently and cover with lid until desired tenderness is reached, about 20 - 30 minutes. 1 serving = 1/2 cup cooked. Difference in altitude, hardness of water and product moisture may change the suggested cook time. Beans are an agricultural product. Despite the use of modern cleaning equipment, it is not always possible to remove all foreign materials. Sort, remove foreign materials, and rinse beans before cooking.
