For Food Safety, Follow These Cooking Instructions: Cook thoroughly to an internal temperature of 145 degrees F or higher as verified with a certified meat thermometer. Since cooking appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only. Conventional Oven Preparation: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Remove beef from packaging and place on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Grill Preparation: Preheat grill (approximately 400-450 degrees F). Remove beef from packaging and place on hot grill, turning on all sides during cooking to brown evenly. General Cooking Instructions: Cook beef steak to an internal temperature of 145 degrees F or higher for medium rare or higher for desired degree of doneness. Monitor internal temperature with a meat thermometer in the center of the thickest part of the steak. Remove beef from oven or grill, cover and let meat rest at least 5 minutes before slicing. Always slice meat against the grain, not with the grain. Perishable previously handled frozen for your protection. Refreeze or keep refrigerated. Cook thoroughly.
